Dr. Solomon has been named the 2024 Dulaney Award recipient!

Dr. Kerry Solomon has been recognized with the 2024 Dulaney Award by the American-European Congress of Ophthalmic Surgery. AECOS is an ophthalmic non-profit organization whose mission is to advance vision care and improve patients’ quality of life through advocacy, innovation, and education. Dr. Solomon is the leading LASIK and laser cataract surgeon in South Carolina and is also the current Chief Medical Officer at US EYE. He was recognized with this award for his many contributions to advancing patient care, the development of technology, and development of techniques in the ophthalmology field. His contributions to the ophthalmic field, especially though the nonprofit Operation Sight he co-founded, which offers free surgery to uninsured South Carolina residents, have proved his deservingness of this recognition. Dr. Solomon said, “I am incredibly proud to be the recipient of this year’s Dulaney Award. It is an honor bestowed to many outstanding surgeons whom I greatly respect and admire. Being recognized in this class of exceptional physicians is especially gratifying.” Congratulations, Dr. Solomon!
